Happy Hours Pre-School Senior Leadership team.

Happy Hours Pre-School is a member of the Early Explorers Childcare Ltd which is owned by Danielle Wrightson, Dannielle holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies from Chichester University.  Prior to this role Danielle previously managed a successful Montessori Nursery, run a private music company and has worked within the Childcare Industry for the past 12 years. 

 

The Pre-School is managed by Charlie Phoon, Charlie is a qualified Early Years teacher (Eyts) She has several years of experience of working in different early years settings. As well as working in early years Charlie has two young children and is passionate about child development and learning. The Pre-School's SENDCo is Debbie Lafferty, Debbie qualified as a mainstream teacher 17 years ago (PGCE) and chose to specialise in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Focusing on conditions such Autism, ADHD, SEMH and to Communication and behaviour difficulties to name a few. Debbie has worked in several interesting and unusual settings over her time as a teacher and SENDCo. (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)

The Pre-School's Deputy Manager is Linzi Mann, Linzi has had many years of experience and has worked for several settings including one of our sister nurseries in Worthing. Linzi is always keen to learn and broaden her knowledge in all areas, Finding new and exciting things for the children to learn and explore.

Our Aim: 

We aim to work in partnership with our parents through the structure of our key worker development programme. This programme enables each staff member to monitor carefully the development of children within their care, by completing individual learning journals for children and liaising on a regular basis with parents. This encourages each child to progress to his or her full potential in a warm, secure and caring environment.

Thursday:  8.30am - 3.00pm

Friday:  8.30am - 12.30pm

A Typical Day:

8.30 - 9.00: - Early Starters and arrivals

9.00 - 10.00 - Settle and regulation through play

10.00 - 10.30 - Key group time

10:30 - 11.00 - Snack Time

11.00 -11.30 - Free play

11.30 - 11.45 - Group Time

11.45 - 12.30 - Lunch Time

12.30 - End of morning session. Home time for children attending morning sessions only.
